Hide-Do you have an interest in the concept of happiness? Would you like to know a little more about how to have a happy life? UCD Access and Lifelong Learning is offering you an opportunity to “taste” an exploration of Introduction to Happiness.
Happiness is an elusive state that everyone wants but few know how to achieve. Since the 1990’s positive psychology has researched happiness and discovered the secrets to a happy life. This talk will focus on defining happiness and exploring our life satisfaction. It will identify the three major routes to happiness and ways to follow each route. It will highlight possible limitations to our happiness and where best to focus our attention in order to create happiness. Recent studies have found that happiness can come in everyday simple rewards. This talk will identify three ways to create happiness now.
