The BTEI provides part-time Further Education programmes for young people and adults. It aims to give participants an opportunity to combine a return to learning with family, work and other responsibilities. Programmes are offered in partnership with a number of agencies throughout the country on a flexible part-time basis. Classes are offered throughout the year in the morning, afternoons, evenings or weekends. Courses lead to a range of accreditation at levels 1-6 on the NFQ.

Advanced Digital Photography QQI level 6 6N3589

Thursday 7 - 10pm / 26 weeks

The course will provide you with the advanced technical and creative skills in Digital Photography. This course is aimed at students who al-ready have a good level of knowledge in Digital Photography and who want to bring there photography skills to a higher level. Leaners with longer experience in photography or who have finished a Photography course at level 5 would be well prepared for this class and are very welcome.

To take part in the class you will need a Digital SLR or Mirrorless camera. The program will enable you to apply advanced functions of the digital camera. You will also learn to select the right equipment and computer software to fulfil a range of tasks in contemporary digital photographic practice. Fee: €150 (conc. apply).

All BTEI courses are exempt from fees where applicants are in receipt of a social welfare payment, hold a medical card or did not complete a leaving certificate or equivalent. Otherwise the following fees apply; €75 (QQI level 3 & 4) or €150 (QQI level 5 & 6).

PPS numbers must be submitted prior to starting a BTEI course.

Please Note: All courses require a minimum number so therefore all classes must be booked and paid for before the course begins. Start dates will be confirmed only when we have enough interest to make the course viable.
