Hide-This Level 8 course is provided by Continuing & Professional Education (CPE) at the University of Limerick in conjunction with the Disability Federation of Ireland (DFI).
This course was developed in response to the increasing need for accountability, growing demand for evidence of quality in both services and management and the recent Value for Money (VFM) Report.
Target Group
The course is aimed at Administrators; Board Members; Development Workers; Managers; Service Users and Volunteers of Community & Voluntary Organisations.
Course Aim
Participants will explore and apply a number of principles, tools and methodologies, designed to identify and eliminate ‘wasteful practices’ and achieve efficiencies in their organisations.
Delivery is by lecture/workshop style sessions designed to reinforce the learning and maximise the benefit of the programme for participants.
On completion of the three modules the combined credits can be accumulated to achieve a “Certificate in Service Quality and Outcome Development for the Community and Voluntary Sector”.
These courses can also be used as a step onto the Level 9, “Lean Healthcare Specialist Diploma” and from there on to the MSc. in Strategic Management depending on educational achievement. These are distance learning courses at the University of Limerick.
