| Entry Requirements |
A 2.2 honours primary degree plus 3 to 5 years’ experience in the aviation and related industries.
For applicants who cannot satisfy the minimum entry requirement the course board may, at its discretion, accept a level lower qualification with stronger evidence of prior learning and experience.
An interview may form part of the application process. |

Hide-With global commercial fleets projected to double over the next 20 years, the Irish aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and technical services sector, including EASA Part-21 Design Organisations and Part-M Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMO), is entering a phase with significant international growth opportunities – this programme is focused on meeting this vibrant sector’s specific technical education needs.
Developed in partnership with the Aviation and Aerospace Skillnet and Aviation MRO/Technical Services sector, modules to be delivered by leading Aviation sector practitioners and is the first of its kind nationally.
This one-year, part-time, specialist diploma programme will be delivered via blended learning, with a number of face-to-face workshops on-campus in both semesters, supported by an online Learning Management System and online tutor interaction.
Participants are expected to attend:
Autumn Semester: four separate on-campus workshops in the Autumn semester (4 days in total)
Spring Semester: four x 2-day workshops (8 days in total)
