The Bachelor of Arts in Applied Policing and Criminal Justice is specifically designed for those who have completed the level 7 BA in Applied Policing, delivered at An Garda Síochána Training College in Templemore, or equivalent. This gives students the opportunity to work independently on a topic that is of personal interest to them and allows students to conduct research under their own direction.
As part of the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Policing and Criminal Justice, students will enhance their knowledge of the criminal justice system in Ireland through appraisal of the practical and academic debates that arise in the investigation of crime and by evaluating problems and identifying workable solutions to issues arising in the criminal justice system.
