Entry Requirements

Note: Learners seeking to work as agricultural workers need excellent hand-eye coordination skills; excellent listening skills; an ability to work well with others; physical stamina; physical strength and mechanical skills to operate machinery.

Education: NFQ Level 5 in a relevant disciple when accessing a Level 6 programme. CERFL proficiency at B2 for access to Level 6 courses for those whose first language is not English
Mature learner entry requirements available via the local ETB pathway

On completion of this programme learners will have the skills, knowledge and competencies to facilitate Agriculture Discussion Groups.

Certificates in Agriculture are nationally and internationally recognised, and can offer our graduates a pathway into further education. The college has also developed links with third level institutions and universities for those graduates who wish to continue their studies to degree level.
