This course provides a foundation for learners who wish to progress to a Level 5 award or higher.

Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied Programme, QQI Level 3 full major award or equivalent.
Work/life experience may be acceptable for mature students.
Students should be 16 years old or over at the start of the course.
Aptitude: Applicants must have a motivation to learn, an interest in the subject area and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course.
Competent written and spoken English language skills (CEFR A2 or higher).
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements should make direct contact with the College to explore their application on an individual basis.

Career Options
Students may wish to continue to further studies at Level 5 in a variety of areas, including Business, Computing, Healthcare, Medical Secretary and Science. In addition to these courses, there are many other course areas to progress to at level 5.

Applications are open for 2024/2025 academic year. Application for all courses is online on the www. greenhillscollege.ie website (Application weblink above). Where courses are full, learners may be placed on a waiting list and allocated places as they become available.
The course is suitable for Leaving Certificate Applied, Youthreach and Citywise students as a bridge to Level 5. It is also suited to those returning to education and/or employment who would like to upskill/reskill.
