This programme will provide students with a foundation in insurance principles and the types of insurance available. It will also provide students with an insight into the Insurance Industry and provide them with the necessary skills to enter into the business arena.

1 year full-time.
Entry Requirements
Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied. Applications are welcome from mature students or those with appropriate work experience. All entry is subject to interview.
Applicants will be asked for one written reference, copy EU Passport or GNIB card or Irish Residence Permit or Labour Market Permission letter
For applicants whose first language is not English, evidence of English language proficiency may be required. If appropriate, Whitehall College of Further Education will conduct an English language assessment.

Progression/Employment
Students will acquire the skills necessary to take up employment in the Insurance, Banking or general Financial Industry sectors. Students may be eligible to apply to Third Level Colleges through the Higher Education Links Scheme.

PLC Maintenance Grants
