What are the entry requirements?
There are no pre-requisites for this course.
A high level of computer literacy Keen interest in working in the ICT industry.
Good verbal and written communication skills are desirable.
Problem-solving skills Good colour vision To actively participate in course activities learners must have access to a computer with broadband Internet access.
Experience in using web-based learning systems is an advantage.
Ability to be dexterous in dealing with various IT devices.

A fee waiver is in place for applicants in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment. You can check your fee waiver eligibility with Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection (DEASP), INTREO or your Local Employment Service (LES) office.
The course is broken down into two parts and you’ll learn the skills you need to install, repair, upgrade, configure, optimise, troubleshoot and undertake daily maintenance within a busy IT department, retail computer store, or tackling home repairs.
