Data Cybersecurity - Mayo
This programme aims to upskill IT practitioners in the current data cybersecurity practices in line with standards, risks and compliance best practices in the implementation and operation of a secure environment for an organisation and to implement security measures at the network and operating system level to protect data from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, or destruction.

Duration
1 year part-time, online.
Study Hours
Students can expect to have 9-11 contact hours per week on average. Students are also expected to carry out 10 hours of self-guided study per week.
On-Campus Attendance
There will be occasional on-site tutorials to explore Network Cybersecurity scenarios (1-2 days per month). These will also be streamed via Teams for anyone who cannot attend on the day.
Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirement is a Level 6 (Higher education) major award in a cognate area or equivalent.
