Soccer Coaching & Sports Psychology - Advanced
The aim of the course is to provide students with industry ready qualifications to obtain a sustainable career within Sport and Exercise Sciences. The Advanced Soccer Coaching & Sports Psychology course is unique because along with the QQI level 6 award students can undertake ITEC Gym Instruction within the Sports Management and Personal Training.

1 year – September to May (full-time)
Entry Requirements
It is compulsory that potential candidates have at least a QQI level 5 certificate in Sport & Recreation (or a relevant cogent qualification). Experience and interest in soccer/coaching is essential. The student will be required to perform a practical interview on sport competencies and a formal interview with the course coordinator. Successful completion of the Leaving Certificate is desirable but not essential.

Third Level Links/Progression
This course is suitable for learners who intend to continue their studies in a third level educational institute. Successful graduates, through the Higher Education Links Scheme, may work towards a diploma or degree in nutrition, science or related areas.
