This course is for anyone who has basic computer skills and would like to discover and explore digital and social media. Students will learn to use and manage various digital media devices and will be aware of the laws governing copyright, data protection, personal security and workplace policy. Students will use mobile phones, music playlists, digital cameras and video cameras, the Internet and various online Social Networking sites, such as twitter, to access and handle digital media content and information. This module completed alongside the Level 3 Digital Photography, forms a neat Digital Skills Package. It can also be used in conjunction with other module to achieve a Full QQI Award at Level 3.
