Minimum Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate: O6/H7 in 5 subjects or Leaving Certificate Applied or QQI Level 4 Equivalent qualifications will be considered. Mature applicants who have relevant industry experience and may not meet the above requirements are welcome to apply.

QQI 5M2102 major award may be used to access the Higher Education Links Scheme to progress to a wide range of Level 8 degrees including Business Management, Psychology and Human Resource Management at NCI, TUD and DBS.

Students have the opportunity to travel to another European country for three weeks’ work experience. This is a fully funded international work experience opportunity funded by the European Union through Léargas, The Exchange Bureau and Erasmus+.

This course will help you develop your skills and knowledge of human resources and business management, in areas such as recruitment and selection, employment legislation, training and development, payroll, managing people and motivating teams. This course is perfect for anyone who wishes to work with and manage people in any aspect of industry.

Work experience is an integral part of the course where you can use all the knowledge you learn in college while also gaining valuable, practical and supported experience in a HR role. There is also a two-week block placement.
