If you are interested in pursuing a career in Interior Design, progressing onto a Degree or would simply like to learn more about the creative process and skills involved in Interior design then this is the perfect programme for you. This one year course will introduce you to all the elements involved in creating beautiful rooms. Learn to hone your talent and transform a house into a home. Teachers will assist you to unleash your personal aesthetic and creative vision. Our new course is suitable for school leavers and is also ideal for those who wish to explore the possibility of a career change.

•It is advisable to present a notebook, ideas book or portfolio and any garments produced that would illustrate your interest in fashion.

Career Opportunities
Interior Design is a career choice that involves creating beautiful, interesting, relevant and comfortable environments. A trained Interior Designer will be able to take a clients vision and communicate that to create a successful space. Opportunities in Interior Design can extend beyond Home Interiors to include Commercial Projects - Offices and Hotels for example. There are opportunities also in the area of Design for Exhibitions and Visual Merchandising for Retail. An emerging area of growth within the Interior Design Profession is in Green Design where the Designer incorporates renewable, recycled or energy-efficient elements to create a more environmentally friendly space.

Closing date for first round of applications is Friday May 3rd 2024 at 2:00pm.

Pre Guidance Meetings where applicable will take place from May 20th 2024

Offers of places will issue following completion of first round pre-guidance meetings

Second Round applications open June 4th 2024.

Pre-entry guidance meetings will take place from August 30th subject to availability of places.

Application system closes on September 30th for 2024 full-time entry.

€175 Registration Fee applies to all students
