The Institute welcomes applications from persons who will be 23 years of age and over on the 1st of January of the proposed year of entry and who wish to be admitted as a mature student. The Institute reserves a minimum of 5% of all places for mature applicants.

In March of each year, MTU welcomes applications for add-on degree and honours degree programmes, with a commencement date of the following September.

The application process is open for one month, from early March to the first week in April each year (this date changes slightly due to the Easter holidays, but it is always within the first week in April).

What is Computing with Software Development?
The honours degree programme consists of two study blocks of 15 weeks each. The second block will include four days workplacement each week (a study period abroad may be taken in lieu of the work placement).
