Spanish for beginners with Ronan.

Course Description:
Get more from your Spanish holiday by acquiring some basic knowledge of this popular and widely spoken language in an enjoyable and relaxed class environment. This course starts with the absolute basics of the Spanish language. We will learn to introduce ourselves, say what age we are and where we live, and describe ourselves, among other things. Then, we will develop our language skills to talk about our family, interests, work, holidays, and finally food, all while learning a little bit about Spanish culture and life. The end goal of this course is for every student to be able to communicate at a basic level with native Spanish speakers.

Tutor Ronan Timmins has a degree in Applied Language and Translation studies from Dublin City University. His working languages are Spanish, French, and Catalan. Ronan has been working as a Secondary school Spanish teacher on the north side of Dublin for two years. He is also undertaking a Professional Masters’s in Education to further his teaching practice. Ronan uses an interactive teaching style with the aim of engaging all students regardless of their ability. He is looking forward to teaching interested students in September.
