Beauty Therapy & Make Up Artistry
This programme enables learners to gain the QQI Level 5 Major Award in Beauty Therapy as well as internationally recognised qualifications from the major therapy awarding bodies. Successful learners have the opportunity to progress to study for advanced qualifications at Level 6.

Entry Requirements
• Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an interview.
• Mature applicants are welcome

Progression:
• Progression to complete advanced qualifications at Level 6.
• Various employment opportunities in the expansive beauty and cosmetic industries as therapists but also opportunities in retail and as product company representatives.

Learners attending Further Education/Post Leaving Certificate programmes may apply to Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI). All applications for grants in respect of new enrolments will be made online for the 2022/23 academic year.
It is not necessary to have received an offer of a college place or to be enrolled at Ormonde College of Further Education in order to apply. The closing date is the end of August each year but you should apply as soon as possible once the 2022/23 applications are open. Early application is
advised.
These grants are means-tested and payable monthly. Payment of grants may be subject to attendance in accordance with the Department of Education and Skills regulations. The college is required to make monthly reports on your attendance to the grants authority.
