The Accountancy Pathway programme consists of four QQI Level 5 accredited component certificates and is designed for students who wish to gain foundational knowledge, skills and competencies in the accountancy field. The four component certificates achieved as part of this programme can be used by students who might wish to progress to a major award in administration.

Payroll Manual: The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skills, and competence to operate and maintain accurate payroll records using manual and computerised systems, for an organisation, working under general direction and supervision.

Bookkeeping Manual & Computerised: The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skills, and competence to produce and maintain accurate bookkeeping records for a range of organisations, using manual and computerised systems.

Spreadsheets for Finance & Accountancy: The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill, and competence to create and modify spreadsheets under supervision, using common spreadsheet features.

Taxation: The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill, and competence in the Irish Tax system and processes, to enable the learner to carry out a range of procedural, consultative, and compliance taxation activities for a range of organisations.
