Certificate of Higher Education in Design and Innovation
This general design certificate focuses on developing creative design thinking to address problems in every aspect of life. The design module features an online design studio, social networking and inspiring study materials alongside a practical component. As well as design, you’ll choose a complementary subject to gain skills and knowledge in an area that fits your needs and interests.

Key features of the course
• Develops your design thinking
• Focuses on the process and application of design and innovation in real-world contexts
• Puts your learning into practice, building a small portfolio of design work to show your ideas and skills

This Certificate of Higher Education is the same as Stage 1 of our Diploma of Higher Education in Design and Innovation (W73).

This certificate of higher education has one stage, comprising 120 credits.
• You’ll study one 60-credit design module and 60 credits of option modules in a complementary subject.
• We’ve created themes to guide you and help you choose your 60 credits of option modules.
